"Dear Beautiful Woman" / Myriwaka
Poetry, added: 7/13/2008, Love

Dear beautiful woman
What is it that I am to you?

The piece to that puzzle
You never could find
Words of your unfinished poem
In the very last line

The key to a door
That has always been locked
A path through to happiness
That always seemed blocked

A map for your soul
For when you are lost
I`ll give you direction
Regardless of cost

Dear beautiful woman
You are this to me…

Your soul is the water
When my life is dry
Your body the fruit
That keeps me alive

Your voice is the music
That cradles my mind
Your touch is a beacon
When I fall behind

Your heart is the thread
Binding my life at the seams
Your love is the course
Where I`ll set all my dreams

great comparisons here, i love how you were able to draw parallels to this woman with that which you selected in your poem. Very poetic indeed and ...dare i say it...rather beautiful in my opinion
