Lyrics by: Eddison_Baptiste
Music by: Eddison_Baptiste
Inspired by: My love for classical music, opera and the passionate tango
Viewed: 186 times
Preferred music genre: Classical

Intro:
I cannot resist you
I cannot forget you
You’re are my heart
I cannot escape you
I cannot erase you
You’re are my soul
What ever comes
I’ll be there

Chorus:
Forbidden
That what the people say
Their hearts are strained by sadness
That they cannot feel
Their vision shackled
They can’t perceive
The naked truth
As we do

Verse: 1
Forbidden
That’s all that
Their hearts can see
They’re blinded by wounds
They can’t feel
And in darkness
They must struggle with their deeds
And behind closed doors
Dark deeds that they can’t recall
Resurrect and paralyzes
Leaving them with curtains drawn
A prejudice was born
A weigh born of memories
That lingers in their soul
We can’t allow
The sins that they hide
Stop love

Verse: 2
We must resist
Their blind anger
We must resist
Their prejudices
We must resist
Their cloak and daggers
We must resist
The games they play now
We must resist the temptation
To give into their silly ways

… Instrumental interlude…..

Bridge:
Come with me
Let’s leave this prison
We’ll leave behind the darkness
Let’s spread our wings
Let’s leave all the fears
And pains behind

Chorus: (variation)
Forbidden
It’s sad when your eyes can’t see
The burden that blind your soul’s eye
Kept in darkness
You must struggle with your deeds
And in darkness
Deeds that you can’t recall
Resurrect and kept your heart closed
Causing you to live in shame

Coda:
They cannot see their pains
A weigh born of memories
Still linger in their souls
We must not let
The sins that they hide
Stop love

Thank-you for your comment Alex. It is really appreciated. Yes I do write around the music sometimes but not always. I can and do work both ways but even when I write around the music it is base on “passion”. (True maybe the passion of the music.) Even with all the music and lyrics I write I cannot write if there is no passion.

Again my friend thank-you very much for your comment.

Hello again my friend! Your words to this one are as usual, great... we as friends can and should voice our concerns for each others` music. My ONLY concern for you is that you are writing your words around the music you already have in mind if not already played. Does that make sense? I want to hear and feel your passion in your words and then see where your music takes it from there. I know it will be another level, I just want to hear you write a poem. Sit with a pen and paper away from your piano for a few days and then marry the two. That is my only concern with your work, and as serious as I may sound, it is truly only a small concern... I just know that the passion of the word in you is an equal to your incredible musical talent... talk to you soon, a
