V1 Looking out at the rolling waves
The sea an endless blue
The picture is almost perfect
All that’s missing is you.
V2 The sand so white and warm and soft
Wraps around my feet
The sun is hot upon my back
But I miss your body heat.
V3 I lay my beach towel on the dunes
My bag beneath my head
Pulled my hat over my face
And thought of what you said
