Preferred music genre: Folk and tranditional

CH: Out of shape leather
Thrown by the door
Dirty old laces
Frayed and torn
Spiders weaving
Their webs inside
Ragged old boots
Once worn with pride.

V1. Down in the trenches
Covered in dirt
Fighting a war
That no-one deserved

V2. Spit and polished
Marching proud
Stomp to attention
For cheering crowds

CH: Out of shape leather
Thrown by the door
Dirty old laces
Frayed and torn
Spiders weaving
Their webs inside
Ragged old boots
Once worn with pride.

V3. Retired officer
Still marches on
Anzac Day
Salutes the throng

V4. Shrivelled gent
Wheelchair bound
Crippled feet
Make no sound.

CH: Out of shape leather
Thrown by the door
Dirty old laces
Frayed and torn
Spiders weaving
Their webs inside
Ragged old boots
Once worn with pride.

this song will eventually have a bugle and a military drum added to give it an Arm feel. Anyone able to assist in adding those parts would be welcomed.
