How long does it take before my lyrics or compositions are approved? |

Our approval process varies from 10 minutes to 48hrs; it depends on our staffs availability. On rare occasions it might take up to a few days.

I don’t have any lyrics for my melody, how can I upload it? |

We apologize, but currently we do not accept content without lyrics. We focus on lyrics.

How do I see who is registered to the site? |

Our database includes thousands of users but only the ones that post content are accessible by clicking their name or picture and sending them an internal message.

Why can't I see my melodies in the "Recently Added Songs" category or in the JukeBox ? |

To have your melodies displayed as songs you have to check the "Has Vocals" check box. You can do it either when storing the melody for the first time or when updating it.

How can I increase my chances of being featured on the homepage? |

We have created a method to allow you to be prominetly displayed on the home page.
How do you get there? Based on different parameters of which some are controlled by you:
1) Post quality content.
2) Get positive feedback from others.
3) Be active on the site, rank and comment.
4) Refer others using the referral link.

What's the referral link and where do I find it? |

A referral link is a link to your profile page and is located on "My profile" page under the "Screen Name" field.
When you post this link on different websites you allow others to link to your page on sharemylyrics.com. When someone gets to our site through your link, your rank with us increases.
Please note that your profile is also accessible without the prf extension i.e. user with a screen name of aabbcc, has his page
accessible by going to http://www.sharemylyrics.com/aabbcc and http://www.sharemylyrics.com/aabbcc.prf
We strongly recommend using the link with the prf extension. That will increase your site rank.
